The 102nd Ramsgate Carnival and Fair will take place 26-27 July 2025

Each year, the streets of Ramsgate burst into life with the Fair and Carnival Parade embodying the joy and unity of our town and its people. The event is ever evolving with elements of tradition and new-ness sitting happily side by side. 

 

This year we have a new route for the parade which will now go from Government Acre along Royal Esplanade, St Augustine’s Road, Paragon and Royal Parade, up Harbour Street, along Queen Street and Westcliff Road then down Grange Road and back to the starting point.

 

From breathtaking floats to exhilarating performances, each aspect of the Carnival and associated Fair is designed to create playfulness and joy fostering an environment where art, culture, and community coalesce. 

 

Join us in this journey of celebration, create, participate, have fun, dance in the streets and be part of a legacy that thrives on joy, diversity, inclusivity and the collective spirit of Ramsgate.
